Allergies & hayfever
Hayfever, otherwise known as allergic rhinitis, is the most common allergic disorder in New Zealand. It occurs when allergens such as pollen or dust cause your nose to become inflamed or irritated, the end result being sneezing, a runny or blocked nose, watery eyes, itchy throat or a cough. While an important part of managing hayfever is to avoid the offending allergens in the first place, we know that’s easier said than done. Your doctor or pharmacist can help with medicines designed to tackle your hayfever and allergies head on. You can also use FLO, a range of non-medicated saline nasal sprays and sinus rinses that relieve congestion caused by allergies and hayfever.
FLO’s preservative-free formulas help relieve congestion caused by hayfever and allergies by:
- Washing away pollen and other allergens from the nose
- Thinning and clearing away mucus
- Moisturising and soothing dry nasal tissue
FLO is non-medicated so you can use it as often as needed. You can also use FLO to clean and clear nasal and sinus passages prior to administering medicated nasal sprays.
